Mönchengladbach Becomes First “eBay City” (Video)

I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Germany.  I lived there as a child, as a high schooler, and as a college student.  So I was excited to learn about eBay’s pilot program in the German city of Mönchengladbach.

In 2015, Mönchengladbach became the first “eBay city.”  The local merchants were introduced to ecommerce and were taught how to sell on eBay.  Each business that participated generated an average of 90,000 Euros per year.  What a great idea!  Hey, could your town become an “eBay city”?
