Wow. I’m listening to the hard goods seller panel from eBay Open, and it’s quite inspirational. One of the panelists, Tanya Jun, was a single mom studying computer science at UC Irvine when a friend asked her to sell some gadgets on eBay. In the first 60 days of selling these products, she and her friend made $30,000. Needless to say, she dropped out of college.
That was 14 years ago. Now she and her husband sell motorcycle parts. Last year, their company, Motorcycle Works, sold 2.4 million worth of goods. 99% of their sales are on eBay. Click here to watch (or listen) to this very interesting panel discussion!
