Stamps.com Offers Free USPS Priority Mail Rate Comparison Guide!

Stamps.com just came out with the 2012 USPS Priority Mail Rate Comparison guide.  Very useful!

The free guide shows Priority Mail costs in all eight USPS shipping zones for packages that weigh up to 70 pounds, giving e-commerce sellers the ability to easily compare shipping rates.

The guide was created to help sellers easily find the lowest rates between regular Priority Mail, Priority Mail Flat Rate and Priority Mail Regional Rates.  Click here to check it out! (If you’re not sure what zone you’re dealing with, check out the USPS  zone calculator that’s included in the document.)

Type in the first three numbers of your zip code in the zip code box. Then look up the first three numbers of the destination zip code down below. The zone will be listed to the right. It takes a bit of practice for sure!

How do you use the Zone section? Do you need to know what zone you are in or the zone for your buyer?

The system is a bit confusing. Here’s a link that will allow you to plug in your zip code and the destination zip code to determine which zone you should look at. http://postcalc.usps.gov/Zonecharts/

So, you find what zone you are in and the weight of your package and it tells you what that package will cost using each of the shipping designations, ie Priority, Regional A, etc? It is that amount to anywhere in the country?
