Will a Sweatshirt With Paint on it Sell?

eBay Radio is on at 11 PST!  And at 1:15, Suzanne Wells will be talking about her new site, Unite, which offers classes designed to help eBay sellers be more successful.  I’m actually planning on taking a few of those classes myself!  Suzanne also has a new blog.  Check it out here!

Speaking of classes…. If you’re interested in learning all about how to hire employees for your eBay business, don’t miss my class this coming up Friday morning.  You’ll learn all about the paperwork required to hire employees and how to train them so that they help you increase profits.  I’m making more than double what I made when I was doing everything myself (and I’m now back at work full time!)  Click here to check it out!

I wanted to share another one of our finds from this weekend!  Johnny found this North Face fleece for 50 cents.  I decided to wash it since it had a little paint on the sleeve and looked like it needed some sprucing up.  The paint didn’t come out, but it smelled really good!  The next morning, I listed it.  It sold in less than a day for………

north face

 $34.99

Not bad!  Everyone loves North Face gear, and this fleece is the epitome of a “green” product.  In fact, Johnny (the greenest person on the planet) would have kept it, but he already has two (both from yard sales)!

    Hi Miriam,

I think you posted a while back about some ratty skate shoes that sold? Now I’ve been looking twice at every thing in my (gone off to college) son’s closet! Today I was looking at a nice blue vintage Hurley Skate t-shirt with white paint spots all over it and thinking, “Now why did he have to paint in THAT shirt?” Maybe I should try and list it anyway just for fun?
